Project Description:

This is a 36’x48’ monitor-style modular horse barn located in Girard, OH. The exterior features white pine board-and-batten siding painted Sherwin-Williams SW 7020 Black Fox, with all trim in SW 6258 Tricorn Black. A 29-gauge black metal roof with insulation caps the monitor roofline, complemented by two 8’ lean-to overhangs also painted Black Fox. A Boston Series cupola (Model B-32) crowned with a polished Patchen Horse weather vane and a continuous ridge vent complete the roof package. An 8’x12’ pressure-treated deck—built with PT joists, flooring, railing, and a 48”-wide exterior stair—provides outdoor loft access. The 6’x8’ sliding aisle doors and upgraded wood Dutch doors with glass for the stalls are manufactured by Appalachian Woodcrafts in Mill Hall, PA.

Benefits:

This modular barn has (8) 12’x12’ stalls and (2) 8’x48’ lean-to overhangs. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the center aisle and a Dutch door with window to the outside. The center aisle has double sliding doors with glass at each end. The loft features (8) 28”x24” wood windows on the sides and (2) 28”x24” wood windows on the back. Outside stairs lead to an 8’x12’ deck and a 4’x6’ loft door providing access to the loft.
