
Stafford Springs, CT Project - 24x48 Trailside with (2) 10 Lean-To Double-Wide
Project Description:
This is a 24’x48’ double-wide modular horse barn in the trailside style with (2) 10’ lean-tos. This Stafford Springs, CT horse barn was built with white pine board & batten siding painted with (Rookwood Red color) paint manufactured by Sherwin Williams. The roof has 4 pitch rafters and architectural shingle roof with GAF Timberline HDZ (Pewter Gray color) shingles. The small windows are sliding wood barn sash windows manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The large window is an insulated double-hung Endure Series window manufactured by ProVia Windows & Doors. The insulated service door was manufactured by Bird-In-Hand Windows & Doors. The 10’x7’ roll doors and 4’x7’ dutch doors and gable vents are manufactured by J&N Structures.
Layout:
This double-wide horse barn has (3) 12’x12’ stalls and a 12’x12’ tack room and a 12’x48’ aisle. The stalls are lined with 4’ high oak kick boards and have a sliding stall door into the aisle and a dutch door to the outside. The tack room has floor and an insulated double-hung window and an insulated service door into the aisle. The aisle has a sliding door at each end and (4) sliding windows along the side. On each end, up near the peak, are gable vents.
